Can Dogs Drink Tea?

No. Dogs should not drink liquids with caffeine. It's better to give them water.

Caffeine can be harmful to your dog if they drink too much. Tea has caffeine. Granted it will take a lot of tea to cause issues. Not only that but tea's benefits are not worth the caffeine issues.

Reasons not to give your dog tea:

  • Caffeine is not good for your dog
  • Tea is harmful to your dog in large amounts
  • Hot tea can burn your dog's tongue
  • Herbal blends are also risky, especially when a lot of herbs that are safe for humans are not safe for dogs.

At the end of the day, water is better. A dog does not need to drink tea for nutritional benefits.

Chances are if your dog drank some tea, they will be fine.
